National Service Scheme
State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), UT Chandigarh has an active NSS Wing for the students of Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) I and II. NSS units of the institute conduct/observe activities in two modes i.e. regular activities and a special seven days NSS camp.
In the regular activities, days/week of National and International significance are observed through Debates, Declamation, Poster making, Awareness talks etc. and a special seven days NSS Camp is organised for the second year students. Under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat and various activities are also conducted.
NSS is a best way for the students to have an all round development of their character.
